Our latest ESG report
Companies environmental, social and governance responsibilities can no longer be ignored or deprioritised for profit. That relates to Sircel just as much – if not even more than – other organisations.
Since the beginning, we have committed to working on our ESG goals and in 2023 developed a comprehensive ESG strategy to guide our efforts and hold us accountable.
Each financial year, we publish an ESG report that captures the e-waste tonnes we have processed right here in Australia.
You can read our report for Jan – June 2023 here and our FY24 report will be shared in the coming months.
Client reports
Every client receives a report detailing the weight we received and processed, which quantifies the amount of e-waste diverted from landfill as well the weight of NTCRS and non-NTCRS items.
Sometimes we receive very small amounts of general waste in collections, like chip board surrounds of old TVs and speakers, or general waste inadvertently caught up in the stream. That’s why say we can divert up to 100% of e-waste from landfill – if it comes over our weighbridge we have to account for it.
We also offer customised reports that provide additional details that clients request, for example ferrous and non-ferrous materials recovered, and specific certificates, for example Blancco data erasure certificate.
We believe that transparent, accurate reporting is the only way for businesses large and small, and their stakeholders, to be truly accountable for their environmental impact.
